He felt so strange pulling the sheer material up over his hairless legs. It was actually a totally alien sensation, wearing something so snug against his skin. Especially something so silky. He stepped back into the jumper and pulled it up, but tugging it all the way up this time.
He was looking at himself in the mirror when he heard them outside the door, telling him to hurry. He delayed long enough to ask himself, could he get away with this? His reflection looked so alien to him. Did he really look enough like a girl to pass?
He'd overheard people making comments as he was growing up. Family, friends would say things behind his back but he never believed for a second that they were right. They were stupid people and they were jealous of him. No he never believed their cruel remarks. As he looked at the face in the mirror, the girl staring back at him, he had to wonder just a little.
They waited anxiously for him to come out and when he did Kim handed him the white flats. "Try them on."
He slipped his feet into then easily. They fit perfectly. "That will do it. Very good Robin," Kim told him, delighted with him.
"Robin?" He asked.
"We can't very well introduce you to Dad as Rob," she explained. "Tina and I thought Robin would be more appropriate."
