Charles and Brenda came to eat at one another's on a regular basis. That was the first time Charles had been out of his house in a dress. The experience laid to rest his fears of others seeing him in a dress. Elizabeth was now able to get Charles to accompany her to the mall and other places without changing into his school clothes first. Elizabeth liked it because he stuck closer to her when he wore a dress, at it seemed more comfortable to talk to him. She did not need to consider if anything was a suitable conversation with a male.
