"I think you have something for my boyfriend," Susan asked the older lady in the shop as Matthew looked at the amazing display of wigs on their stands around the shop. "I promised him he could be someone else this weekend. I think something on the trailer trash style would be about right."
Matthew listed in awe, and then it was as if a circuit was turned on in his brain. Things couldn't get worse whatever he did or said. "Sure honey," he said trying to affect a drawl, "I wanted to be, like, platinum but she said I'd look too trashy forever if she let the beauty salon bleach my hair like I wanted so I have to, like, wear a wig instead."
Matthew was aware of Susan's reaction to his change of character, but quickly she gathered her wits and continued. "See what I have to deal with, he just gets trashier every day, and there I am trying to bring my daughter up decent."
"I just want a little fun," Matthew interrupted. "They do say, like, it's blondes that have, like, all the fun."
