I loved this romp through haunted Tidewater Virginia, an area I call home. Susanna is adorable as the shy young transgendered girl undergoing her sexual awakening as a southern belle on the restored plantation where she works. The sex scenes are very hot, (at least to me, and some are quiet prolonged). Susanna's deflowering was actually quite realistic and sensitively done.
In the story, Susanna falls in love with the ghost of a Union Officer, killed on the plantation and reincarnated in the 21st century. Meanwhile, her new friend, Saffron, (read Lady Chablis) the curator's irreverent and enterprising transgendered daughter turns the plantation back into a bordello during evening hours after she recruits Susanna and other college girls to work as the entertainment. Susanna's mother, another great character, disapproves as any good mother should.
The story is original, fun, sexy, and occasionally poignant. I really enjoyed reading it.
